Black pepper rd and copra prices firmed up at the spices market here today following sustained demand from stockists and retailers amid good export offtake.
Ginger unbleached ruled steady in absence of any large-scale buying activity.
Black pepper rd gained further by Rs 20/15 to Rs 400/450 per kg from Monday's closing level of Rs 380/435.
Copra office Alappuzha, copra office Kozhikode, copra Rajapur Mumbai and copra edible Mumbai rose by Rs 200 per quintal each to Rs 11,700, Rs 11,500, Rs 21,000 and Rs 14,500 as against Rs 11,500, Rs 11,300, Rs 20,800 and Rs 14,300, respectively.
