The Nilgiris Mountain Railways (NMR), services of which were suspended almost daily from October 24 due to landslips, today operated its services without any disruption.
The Heritage train with 130 passengers, left Mettupalayam for Udhgamandalam at 7.10 am and reached Coonoor around 12.00 noon, official sources said.
Incessant rains and landslides on the track between Mettupalayam and Coonoor forced the authorities to suspend the services of NMR last week.
Railway authorities arranged buses to shift the stranded passengers to Mettupalayam.
