Seven anti-social elements held with arms and ammunition

Seven criminals of an inter-district gang were arrested today with arms and ammunition from Sita Chowk in Vaishali district, a police officer said.
Acting on a tip off, a police team raided a hideout and nabbed the seven criminals hailing from Vaishali and Saran districts while they were planning a robbery, Superintendent of Police Chandrika Prasad said.
The cops recovered two automatic pistols, two country-made pistols, 20 live cartridges, 12 mobile phones, three motorcycles, eight SIM cards and Rupees two lakh cash from them, he said.
