The surrendered cadres, who were members of 'jan militia', were identified as Rainu alias Dukaru Netam (43), Jamdhar (50), Phoolram (25), Phool Singh Netam (46), Jaisingh Korram (55), Tularam Mandavi (24) and the woman Dasmati (25), all residents of Mardapal and Bayanar regions.
They were wanted in cases of attempt to murder, murder and loot.
In their statements, the surrendered rebels claimed they were disappointed with the use of violence and obstruction of development works by Maoists.
