Silver futures slide 0.14% on global cues

Silver prices drifted by 0.14 per cent to Rs 41,209 per kg in futures trade today as participants trimmed their positions.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in July month fell by Rs 57, or 0.14 per cent to Rs 41,209 per kg in business turnover of 8029 lots.
Likewise, the white metal for delivery in September contracts traded lower by Rs 45, or 0.11 per cent to Rs 41,836 per kg in 185 lots.
Traders said the fall in silver prices was largely in line with a weak trend in precious metals at global market.
Globally, silver fell 0.78 per cent to USD 17.27 an ounce in London today.
