Silver up by 0.7% aided by global cues
Market analysts said a firming trend in the precious metals in global market influenced silver prices
Press Trust of India New Delhi Taking positive cues from the global market, silver prices were higher notably by Rs 197 to Rs 41,136 per kg in futures trade today largely as traders created speculative positions.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in July was trading higher by Rs 197, or 0.73%, to Rs 41,136 per kg, in a business turnover of 307 lots.
Also, the white metal for delivery in September rose by Rs 261, or 0.63%, to Rs 41,685 per kg in two lots.
In the international market, silver gained 0.56% to $17.19 an ounce in Singapore today.
