Opposing the council's decision on e-way bill, Sisodia, who also holds the finance portfolio, said it was against the "fundamental concept" of GST.
"Have opposed idea of e-way bill in GST meeting today. It's against the fundamental concept of GST," he tweeted.
In another tweet, the deputy chief minister said, "Why we need e-way bill? GST was brought on 'One Nation-One Tax-One Market'? We have to come out of 'Inspector Raj' mindset."
The Council, headed by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and comprising representatives of all states, today finalised the e-way bill that mandates pre-registration of all goods worth over Rs 50,000 before they are moved for sale beyond 10 km.
