"The Commissioner of Police has formed a Special Investigation Team under the leadership of DCP Rajindra Singh to probe the racket," Additional Commissioner of Police-2, Amrik Singh Powar said.
Meanwhile, police have also arrested a lab technician identified as Harvindra yesterday in connection with his links with the racket, he said.
Harvindra was working in a private hospital whose name cropped up during investigation.
Kidney transplant related all documents have been seized from the hospital, police said.
If any irregularity is found in the documents then all the recipients and donors will be questioned, he said.
