The company aims to achieve this from its 1,500 MW Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station and 412 MW Rampur Hydro Power Station in Himachal Pradesh, 47.6 MW Khirvire Wind Power Project in Maharashtra and 5 MW Solar Power Project in Gujarat.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to this effect was signed between P K Pujari, Secretary (Power) Government of India and R N Misra, CMD, SJVN Ltd at New Delhi.
SJVN has surpassed the target during 2016-17 and generated 9,045 million units against the target of generating 8,700 million units.
