CPI-M politburo member Pinarayi Vijayan today alleged that Chief Minister Oommen Chandy was indirectly supporting the "activities of SNDP-RSS partnership" in Kerala.
Talking to reporters here, Vijayan said, "Chandy wants to continue his rule while RSS-BJP combine wants to open its account in the state."
Hitting out at Chandy, Vijayan said: "The Chief Minister is indirectly supporting the activities of the SNDP-RSS partnership."
There had been discussions between RSS-BJP and SNDP Yogam General Secretary, Vellapally Natesan in the state and national levels on alliance, he added.
On the civic polls next month, Vijayan said "UDF is facing problems in seat sharing for the forthcoming local body elections and committees at district and block levels have been formed to solve them. But there is no such problems in LDF and our candidates will start filing nominations in a couple of days."
Referring to problems faced by Indian workers in the Gulf, he asked the Centre to prepare an action plan for the welfare of Indians employed there.
Citing the incident where an Indian woman's hand was chopped off by her employer in Saudi Arabia, Vijayan said the government should take the matter seriously and take up the issue with the government concerned.
