Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar here today said his government is committed to ensure uniform development in the state.
"The government is committed to ensuring the uniform development of all 21 districts of the state," Khattar said expressing satisfaction over the achievements of the first ever BJP-led government in Haryana, which completes its one year in power this month.
The chief minister was addressing the gathering after laying the foundation stone of Public Works Department (PWD) Rest House here.
Further, taking a dig at previous Congress regime for "lopsided" development, he said development works under the previous government were confined to few parts of the state.
He said that during the last 48 years since the inception of Haryana, development in the state remained directionless and anomalous.
The chief minister said the state government has achieved a number of milestones in various spheres in its one-year tenure but "a lot was yet to be achieved".
The present government, he asserted, would ensure uniform development in all 21 districts of the state as per their requirement.
Stating that the pace of development would be further accelerated in the time to come, Khattar said, "The government is marching ahead in the right direction."
He said that transparent administration, zero tolerance against corruption and ensuring the reach of benefits of various schemes and programmes up to the last person in the row were the three top priorities of the state government.
"The state government is working keeping in view these priorities and as a result of this, people's faith in the functioning of the government has been increased significantly", he added.
