BSP National General Secretary Naseemuddin Siddiqui today accused SP of "always cheating" Muslims and asked members of the minority community to remain alert and not get trapped.
Addressing Muslim Samaj Bhaichara Sammelan at Club Ground, he alleged that SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav was confined to the wellbeing of his family members and had even pushed back the interests of the people of his own community.
He claimed that the respect Muslims were getting in BSP was not possible in SP.
The BSP leader said there was not a single Muslim MP in SP, whereas six Muslim MPs were elected from BSP.
