"I am of the view that policemen should wear a perfect uniform during duty. They should always wear uniform cap while on duty," he said.
"I have observed that constables who have joined duty here after completing their training were moving about sporting black sunglasses and without caps," he added.
"I advice them to wear black sun-glasses during extreme heat or while riding motorbikes. They should wear goggles only if they have valid reason and not otherwise," Agrawal said.
