The closing ceremony of the event 7Notes7Days was organised at the College Auditorium where Sharma was felicitated by principal Dr Ashok Sehgal with a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh.
Sehgal also declared tomorrow October 19 as a holiday in the college to celebrate his success.
Sharma broke the world record of a Polish Pianist of 103 hours and was dedicated to set a new record by playing till 155 hours.
Sharma, a BCom student of SRCC, has been playing on his synthesiser since October 11 at the college auditorium.
