Sri Lanka's tour of Zimbabwe has been cancelled due to "issues facing Zimbabwe Cricket", said SLC Secretary Nishantha Ranatunga today.
The sources in the Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) said the cancellation was because of the severe financial problems faced by the Zimbabwe Cricket Union.
Sri Lanka cricket team was to travel to Zimbabwe in October for two Tests, three One-day Internationals and two Twenty20 internationals.
Sri Lankan cricket selectors had earlier also named a 25-member pool to select the different squads to tour the African nation.
