"It's good to be back in Ahmedabad after a long time. Earlier in 2011, I was here to the watch World Cup quarter final between India and Australia. That was a crucial match for India and I watched it with the Gujarat Chief Minister and now BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi," Srikanth told reporters today.
"India won that crucial match back then in this stadium. Now, we will be playing against Royals tomorrow. I believe that this ground will prove lucky for us once again. We will also play our best to win the game," said Srikanth, who practiced with Hyderabad players during the evening.
"We will do our best to be one of the top four teams. We still have four games to played at our home ground in Hyderabad. Thus, our team will have home advantage for those games," said Srikanth, adding that he is impressed by the performance of Hyderabad bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Rajasthan Royals spinner Pravin Tambe.
