Steel rules steady in thin trade

Saria and other steels, after trading in a narrow range on scattered support, settled at last levels in the wholesale steel market here today.
Traders said absence of any worthwhile activity from construction units kept steel prices at last levels.
Following are today's quotations (in Rs per tonne):
Saria Kamdhenu: 8-mm Rs 44,600, 10-mm Rs 44,100, 12-mm Rs 41,700, 16-25 mm Rs 42,500.
Amba Shakti (TMT): 8-mm Rs 45,700, 10-mm Rs 43,400, 12-mm, Rs 42,400, 16-25 mm Rs 42,500.
MS Angle: (50x5) (50x6) Rs 42,000, (40x5) (40x6) Rs 42,800.
Angle Capital (ISI) (40X5) (40x6) Rs 44,100, (35X5)(65X6) Rs 44,600. Girder (125X65) Rs 41,000.
