Eid prayers were offered at different mosques across Jammu city, including the Jama Masjid and Eidgah in Jammu.
"We came here to extend our greetings to our Muslim brethren on the auspicious occasion of Eid. We pray that this day brings everlasting peace," said Randeep Singh, a resident of Jammu.
Lauding the gesture by the members of other communities, Ali Mohammed, a resident of Wazarat Road said, "It is really a goodwill gesture and we reciprocate their warm feelings. This Eid, we pray to almighty Allah for love and brotherhood between all."
