Stockists buying lifts cashew prices

Cashew prices edged higher Rs 5 per kg in the national capital today on the back of increased buying by stockists as well as retailers.
Further, fall in supplies from growing regions supported the upside in cashew prices.
Cashew kernel No 180, No 210, No 240 and No 320 rose Rs 5 each to conclude at Rs 805-855, Rs 725-745, Rs 675-685 and Rs 620-635 per kg, respectively.
Marketmen said increased buying by stockists and retailers amid restricted supplies from growing belts, mainly pushed up cashew prices to rise.

Almond (California) Rs 23,100, Almond (Gurbandi-new) Rs 10,700-11,200; Almond (Girdhi) Rs 7,300-7,500; Abjosh Afghani Rs 15,000-20,000.

Almond Kernel (California-new) Rs 785-805 per kg, Almond Kernel (Gurbandi-new) Rs 750-850 per kg.
