Kajal Salve, who was studying in 12th grade, at V N Naik college jumped off the sixth floor from the college building at around 1100 am, said Sitaram Kolhe,in-charge of Sarkarwada police station.
She was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she was declared brought dead, Kolhe added.
The official added that no suicide note was found from the spot and investigations are on.
