Student's father beats up woman teacher for demanding fees

A woman teacher was allegedly assaulted by the father of one of her students apparently for demanding fees at a Haibapur village school here.
The incident occurred yesterday when the teacher sent a student back home asking him to bring his fees, Charthawal police station SHO Shoaib Khan said.
Furious over the teacher's action, the student's father, Ishwar Singh, went to the school and allegedly assaulted her, he said.
The SHO said a case has been registered against absconding Ishwar Singh and police are looking for him.
