Suicide at Metro, services affected

A person committed suicide this morning at the Shovabazar Metro station disrupting Metro train services, officials said.
The motorman had applied emergency brakes when the person jumped on the tracks, but in vain.
Officials said the identity of the person was not known immediately.
As a result of this incident, Metro services were disrupted for about an hour.
