Sultry day in Delhi

It was a sultry day in the national capital today with the maximum temperature settling a notch above normal at 35.5 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 25.6 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average.
According to the MeT department, the city received "nil" rainfall today.
High level of humidity, which oscillated between 50 and 86 per cent during the day, caused discomfort to people in the city.
The weatherman has predicted overcast conditions for tomorrow. "The skies will be partly cloudy. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 36 and 26 degrees Celsius, respectively," according to a MeT forecast.
