Suspected militants open fire at security forces in J&K's Pulwama

Suspected militants opened fire on a patrolling party of security forces in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday, but there was no report of any casualty.

The ultras opened fire at the patrolling party at Barsoo in the Awantipora area of Pulwama around 2.30 pm, a police official said, adding that no one was hurt in the incident.

Security forces have cordoned off the area and launched a hunt for the culprits.
