SYL Canal issue: All-party delegation to call on Prez tomorrow

An all-party delegation led by Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar will call on President Pranab Mukherjee tomorrow to request him to get the Supreme Court's decision of on the Sutlej-Yamana-Link (SYL) Canal implemented at the earliest.
Khattar said the state government had sought time from the President following the decision of Supreme Court on SYL Canal issue which was in favour of Haryana.
He said an all-party meeting he chaired in Chandigarh recently had unanimously decided to call on the President requesting him for early implementation of the Supreme Court decision.
The delegation will first assemble at Haryana Bhawan and then meet the President at 6 PM.
