Tamil film director Chandrasekar hospitalised

Noted Tamil director-producer S A Chandrasekarwas admitted to a hospital here after he suffered injuries due to a fall, hospital sources said.
The 71-year-old filmmaker, father of Tamil movie actor Vijay, suffered head and spinal injuries due to the fall at a resort in Kumarakam, they said.
An emergency surgery was performed on his neck, sources said.
