Tamil Nadu MP briefs PM on Sivakasi incident

Tagore, who represents Virudhunagar under which Sivakasi comes, met Singh and thanked him for the ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh he announced on Wednesday after the incident.

He told PTI that Singh expressed his "deepest sympathies" to the families of the victims who lost their lives in the incident.

Tagore told Singh that better medical facilities should be made available in and around Sivakasi to treat patients in such eventualities.
