Along with cleaning of animal enclosure roof, drains and pruning of vegetation and regular disinfection, a Flood Action Plan has been chalked out, Rajnish Kumar, a member of the Managing Committee of Zoo said today.
Dr M Palit, Deputy Director and Sanjay Kumar Mahato, Curator, among others, will oversee the implementation of the action plans, he said.
Besides, two teams had been formed to oversee flood management during monsoon and ensure proper evacuation and rescue of Zoo inmates, when required, he said.
