Teeange girl commits suicide over harassment, youth arrested

A 16-year-old girl allegedly committed suicide at her residence following which a youth was arrested for harassing her, police said today.
The girl took the extreme step at her residence in Ram Nagar here on Tuesday night, Superintendent of Police Pankaj Nain said.
Meanwhile, the deceased's mother alleged that the girl was persistently harassed by their landlord's son Ranjit.
Following which, the accused was nabbed and further investigations are on into the matter, Nain said.
