The deceased Mohammed Salman, a resident of Badriya Colony in Bendekara, was travelling by Matsyghandha train from Bhatkal to Kerala when he accidently slipped the from train last night, they said.
He was immediately shifted to government hospital in Kundapur with severe head injuries where he succumbed to injuries this morning, police said.
Salman, working in a garment showroom in Kerala, had returned to his native place few days back, Police said.
