Indo-Kuwaiti fashion designer unveils new collection in Dubai

An Indo-Kuwaiti fashion designer in the UAE has showcased his latest collection to pay tribute to the natural beauty of the Maldives at a fashion exhibition here.
Tahir Sultan, in collaboration with W Retreat & Spa - Maldives, launched his collection during the fourth edition of Dubai Fashion Forward.
Inspired by his visit to the luxury playground, the collection paid tribute to the natural beauty of the Maldives.
Named 'Infinite Days & Infinite Nights' the collection addresses the juxtaposition of infinite days working and infinite nights having fun, a statement released by W Retreat & Spa - Maldives said.
The colours and shapes were inspired by the aquatic life, vibrant coral reefs and white sand beaches that surround the retreat in Maldives, the statement said.

Drawing from nature's color palette, Tahir liberally used shades of coral, turquoise, shell, amethyst, indigo purple, electric blue, aqua and hints of neon, while prints and embellishments take their reference from fish scales, pearls, the coal and reefs, it said.
