Tehsildar, forest officer in ACB trap

The anti-corruption bureau (ACB) today trapped a tehsildar and a forest range officer in separate cases in Adilabad district of Telangana and East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh respectively while taking bribes.
The Tehsildar of Nirmal in Adilabad district was arrested for allegedly taking a bribe of Rs 5,000 from a complainant for doing an official favour, an ACB release said here.
In the other case, D Lalitha Kumar, forest range officer at Kakinada was caught red-handed at her residence by the ACB officials while she was accepting Rs 14,000 as a bribe from a complainant.
