Ten truck operators were today arrested on the charge of attempt to murder, police said today.
In a complaint filed with police, the complainant truck driver Sukhjinder Singh alleged that he was stopped by truck operators of a rival group here and they started pelting stones at the vehicle causing grievous injuries to him.
A total of 18 persons were booked by the police under section 307 of the IPC and 10 of them were arrested in the evening.
Two groups of trucks operating in Moga had been at the loggerhead over the control of the Moga truck union.
Members of warring groups had even clashed with each other on January 10.
