Tenure of chairmen, members of various Pb boards ends

"Secretaries of the concerned departments have been asked to look after the affairs of boards and corporations under their administrative control as chairmen till further orders," a spokesman of the chief minister office said here today.

The step is a part of the process of restructuring of these state owned public undertakings.

These Boards and Corporations include Forest Development Corporation, Punjab State Women Commission, Gau Sewa Board (Cow Welfare Board), Traders Board, Small Traders Board, Tubewell Corporation, Punjab Ex-Service Men Corporation (PESCO), BC Land Development and Finance Corporation.
