The alleged incident occurred last Saturday when the woman (46) had gone to the clinic of the doctor as she was having pains, said sub-inspector NG Chowdhary of Mumbra police station.
As per the complaint lodged by her, the doctor touched her inappropriately.
The doctor, whose name has been withheld, was booked under section 354 of IPC for outraging modesty of woman. No arrest has been made so far.
