According to Variety, the '80s series will receive a sequel comic book in the form of a new series of comics, starting in October.
In the new comics, the residents of Santa Carla, California, are still on edge after the Emerson boys took down Keifer Sutherland and his long-toothed crew, with a few cloves of garlic and some holy-water filled guns, in the 1987 original.
Now, the brothers must once again team up with vampire hunters Edgar and Allan Frog to take down a new gang of ruthless, stunning, life-sucking nightcrawlers known as the Blood Belles.
"'The Lost Boys' was one of my entry points into the horror genre, and I've been fascinated ever since," said Seeley.
"Getting the chance to write a sequel to the film, featuring the original characters, and getting to work with Scott, Patricia and Tony is truly a high point in my comic book-making career."
The 1987 classic starred Jason Patric, Corey Haim, Kiefer Sutherland and Corey Feldman; who is still in debate regarding a Goonies reunion.
