"#THEMUMMY in Africa. #Namibia, we are so excited to be here!," she tweeted.
The reboot of 1999 film revolves around an ancient queen whose destiny was unjustly taken away. She is awakened in the current day after years of safely entombed in a crypt deep beneath the unforgiving desert. It brings with her malevolence grown over millennia and terrors that defy human comprehension.
Russell Crowe, Marwan Kenzari, Javier Botet and Dylan Smith are among other cast members.
Directed by Alex Kurtzman from a script written by Jon Spaihts, "The Mummy" will hit US theatres on June 9, 2017.
