Thieves steal Rs 3 lakh by breaking car's window glass

Unidentified persons stole Rs three lakh from the car of an elderly businessman by breaking its window glass in Siyani Gate area here today, police said.
The 65-year-old businessman, identified as Kailash Aggarwal, had gone to furniture market near Movie Place on Meerut Road.
When he returned, he found the window glass of his car smashed and a bag containing the booty was missing from the vehicle, they said.
Later, Aggarwal, an owner of a factory situated in Kavinagar industrial area in the district, filed a complaint in this regard on the basis of which a case has been registered against some unknown persons.
