The six deceased were among a total of 11 persons who were reportedly swept away last evening in the flash floods.
While four among those were rescued, one person was still missing, Town Inspector (Aathner), Manoj Kumar, said today.
The bodies of the deceased were fished out today morning while a search is on to trace the missing person, he added.
