Three incidents of molestation of minors in Thane district

Three incidents of molestation involving minor victims were reported in Thane district yesterday.
A man was arrested for allegedly molesting a 10 years old girl in Kurla Camp area of Ulhasnagar town in the district. He was identified as Vijay Dyaneshwar Mane (23).
The offence was registered under section 354 of IPC (molestation) and also under the Protection Of Children From Sexual Offences Act against him at Hill Line Police station.
In the second case, a man was arrested for harassing and trying to molest a 17 years old girl who works as school-bus attendant.
The incident took place at around 11 am yesterday near a school in Manpada area of Thane city.

According to Kapurbawdi police, the accused Anupam Pawan Sharma (20) had been following the girl for the last two days.

He was arrested under section 354 of IPC and also under the POCSO Act.
In the third incident reported from Lokmanya Nagar area here, a nine years old girl was molested when she was alone at home.
Vartak Nagar police identified the accused as Dileep Patil. He was yet to be arrested.
