Three killed, 30 ijured in mishap

Three persons were killed and 30 injured when a lorry carrying 50 devotees hit a roadside tree while giving way for a vehicle coming in the opposite direction at Keezhvaanam village near here today, police said.
The devotees from Naraiyur village were proceeding to offer worship at Sri Murugan temple when the mishap occurred.
All the injured had been admitted to the Munipaakam Government Medical College Hospital, police said.
