Three Maoist operatives surrender

An area commander of the CPI(Maoists), Ajay Korwa, along with his wife Basanti Devi and brother Raju Korwa, surrendered before the Superintendent of Police Sudhir Kumar Jha in Garwah district today.
All three were active members of the ultra outfit, Jha told reporters adding they were operating in Palamu and Latehar districts of Jharkhand and also in Balrampur district in adjoining Chattisgarh.
The SP said all the three would get benefits under the government's surrender policy.
