BJP's draft manifesto on J'khand to be ready by month-end: Rai

Chairman of BJP's election manifesto committee, Saryu Rai, today said a draft of the party's election manifesto will be ready by this month and released after the notification of the Assembly elections.
Addressing a press conference here following a meeting of the committee, Rai, accompanied by members of the committee including former chief minister Arjun Munda and Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahato, said the committee was seeking suggestions from people across the society.
"The draft of the manifesto will be ready by this month and will be given a concrete shape after discussion with senior party leaders," he said.
Rai assured that the manifesto would take Jharkhand to a new height on all fronts including economical and industrial growth of the mineral-rich state and address people-oriented issues.
"The manifesto will focus on inclusive growth and involve people from across the society in the development process," he said.
A questionnaire regarding the propose manifesto would also be uploaded on the party's website to reach out to people to include their suggestions, Rai said.
'We will implement the manifesto, if voted to power, to achieve fast development and make Jharkhand self-reliant in energy sector within two to three years," he claimed.
