Three robberies reported, one body found in Noida, G Noida

Three robberies were reported in the twin cities of Noida and Greater Noida while an unidentified body was recovered from a canal in Dadri area, police said today.
In Greater Noida, an FIR was lodged on complaint of R Haider who alleged he was assaulted by three armed men near Balak Inter College last night and robbed of his motorcycle and cash, a senior police official said.
At Sector 24 in Noida, Sri Chand alleged that unidentified miscreants robbed him his mobile phone and Rs 15,000 cash, deputy superintendent of police Rakesh Kumar said.
Naya Bans resident Lal Mohammad has lodged an FIR at Sector 49 police station statingthat last night he was returning from Dadri to Noida when his car was intercepted by some people in another car.
The men in the other car forced them to stop and engaged in an altercation with him claiming that his car had hit theirs, the DSP said.
The unidentified people soon gathered about a dozen men and forcibly took one of his relatives who was in the car with him to a nearby Baraat Ghar where they assaulted him and robbed his mobile phone and Rs 50,000 cash, Kumar said.
Meanwhile, in Dadri area an unidentified body was recovered from a canal, the officer said.
