"Tamil Nadu achieved the first position in Armed Forces Flag Day Per Capita Collections for 2012-13," an official release said here today.
The Secretary, Department of Ex-Servicemen's Welfare, Ministry of Defence presented a trophy for the "Highest Per Capita collection," to Tamil Nadu at New Delhi, it added.
Tamil Nadu has been retaining this trophy since 2003.
