A toddler suffocated to death after he was "abducted" by a few persons and kept in "harsh" conditions in Basera village here, police said.
The one-and-half-year old boy was yesterday abducted by some persons from the neighbourhood who kept him in their house in "harsh" conditions.
The child's parents found the boy in their neighbours' house and rushed him to a hospital, where doctors declare him brought dead.
Police have registered a case in this regard and arrested Bhoora and Inam. An old enmity is suspected to be the reason behind the incident.
