Toll plaza employee shot at in Haryana

A toll plaza employee was today injured after some unidentified men opened fired at him following a scuffle over paying toll tax at Sohna Road in Ballabhgarh here, police said.
The injured was admitted to a hospital in sector 21 here and his condition is stated to be out of danger, they said, adding the accused had fled from the spot.
According to a police spokesman, Jogindra, a resident of Pakhal village, works at the toll plaza. This morning, he had reported to duty as usual.
In the afternoon, a car arrived at the toll plaza and on being asked to pay toll tax, the passengers refused and got into a scuffle with Jogindra and his colleagues.

Suddenly, one of them pulled out a gun and fired at Jogindra injuring him in the leg. In the ensuing melee, the miscreants managed to flee from the spot in the car, said the spokesman.
On being alerted, police arrived at the spot and launched a probe.
According to Satyanarayan, ASI, Dhauj police station, a hunt is on to nab the accused.
