DeLonge announced earlier this month that he was readying a solo album called 'To the Stars'. Before releasing the set next month, the 39-year-old musician dropped on Tuesday, March 10 its first track called 'New World', reported Aceshowbiz.
The up-tempo punk/rock number may or may not be a song DeLonge originally wrote for Blink-182's new album.
It arrives along with a video showing the vocalist wandering around the town at night with a broken guitar slung over his shoulder.
'To the Stars' will be out on April 21 and is currently available for pre-order on DeLonge's new website. In anticipation of the album, he'll share two more songs that are scheduled to arrive on March 23 and April 6, respectively. A full tracklisting will be revealed on March 16.
