GM Amonatov Farrukh (ELO 2632) of Tajikistan is the top seed while GM Diptayan Ghosh (ELO 2569), who is the second seed, would lead the Indian challenge along with Karthikeyan P (ELO 2502), who is seeded fifth, said a media release.
The tournament is an International norm event and is to be played in three different categories at the Mount Litera School International, Bandra Kurla Complex.
The tournament is being organised by Venus Chess Academy and conducted by Mumbai Suburban District Chess Association under the aegis of the All India Chess Federation, the release added.
