Trucks caught fire after collision in Raj, 4 burnt alive

Four persons were today burnt alive when two trucks in which they were travelling caught fire following a drastic collision on Jhalawar road in the district.
"Two trucks loaded with chemicals and bundles of cloth collided on Jhalawar road and the trucks caught fire after collision," Mandana Station House Officer Tej Singh said.
"The fire flames were so profuse that the drivers and cleaners of both the vehicles could not get time to jump out and were burnt alive," Singh said.
Four badly charred bodies were recovered from the trucks, he said, adding that the bodies could not be identified as they were totally burnt.

The police are investigating the matter and trying to ascertain the identities of the bodies, he said.
